I am a primary school teacher in Ireland. I teach 6th class girls and we have 31 students in our class. I am passionate about effectively integrating digital technology to enhance teaching, learning and assessment in my classroom. In my experience, the use of technology has supported constructivist, project-based and collaborative learning experiences. It provides creative and motivating opportunities for children to express themselves using a variety of multimedia resources that can be shared with a wider audience. As a teacher, it is wonderful to see how technology can transcend the walls of the classroom by connecting learners from around the work and how it can facilitate the development of children’s computational and critical thinking skills.
